October 2016

The entire Pumpkin Patching crew.
It's fall and that means our annual trip to Fischer Farms Pumpkin Patch. This year 12 families participated on Oct. 5. (That's 17 adults and 27 kids!) From picking pumpkins to the corn maze to the new slide into the corn box, we had a great time. Fischer Farms is open to the public on weekends.

That following weekend, Oct. 7 through 9, we had a family campout at Meramec State Park near Sullivan, Mo.  Beautiful weather, cave exploring, hiking, and marshmallow toasting was our entertainment for the weekend.  Some of us also enjoyed hanging out in our hammocks and toasting our toes by the fire!  We hope to plan another camping trip for June.
